The Pea Pickin’ Hearts cast a spell with their quirky Americana mashup of old-time, folk, rockabilly & other roots sounds that pay homage to 1940s & 50s Appalachia. Hints of jazz & western swing are undeniable. Gibson & Ives are the ultimate collaborators — unique harmonies, songs with humor and often painfully-honest insight. Their name is a sweet tribute to both Tennessee Ernie Ford & the love they share for their Tennessee home.
The Pea Pickin’ Hearts are celebrating the release of “Last Words” (2015), the upbeat follow up to their folk-inspired CD, “Creekwood Crow” (2014).
