Waldensian Heritage Winery

Opened in 1930 and run completely by volunteers, the Waldensian Heritage Winery preserves the winemaking skills of the Waldensian settlers that came to this area in 1893.

Built of local field rock and timbers, the Waldensian Heritage Winery is located a few miles north of downtown Valdese, North Carolina.

This unusual winery also features a Bocce Ball court where you can spend the afternoon sipping wine and playing a few games.
